FIELD REPRESENTATIVE
JOB SUMMARY:
Act as a marketing representative for SportsCare at the local affiliated hospital, health system or other healthcare organization. Deliver the message and services of the hospital to the community through outreach marketing programs and events in order to drive business to designated hospital service lines.
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Responsible to: SportsCare Manager and designated hospital liaison.
2. Responsible for: Designated SportsCare healthcare outreach marketing and services.
3. Inter-relationships: Other SportsCare Field Representatives, hospital staff, hospital administration, medical staff, and community contacts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in sports management, marketing, business or related field. (Mandatory)
1. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, familiarity with marketing functions, basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
2. Knowledge: Business knowledge of systems; general office procedures; use of equipment.
3. Experience: Two to Five years of organized athletic participation, management or administration, event management, marketing or sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Provide clear lines of communication to SportsCare, respective customers, designated hospital representatives and other medical staff personnel to expedite SportsCare and other department services within delegated authority.
2. Familiar with all SportsCare and designated hospital programs and services to optimize customer utilization and satisfaction.
3. Maintain ongoing communication with athletic community, corporate SportsCare and a designated hospital.
4. Deliver outreach marketing services in the community through events, lectures, sponsorships and community relationships.
5. Database and report program results.
Innovation and Leadership
1. Assist in environmental and organizational assessments of various services and functions to enhance the image of SportsCare and designated hospital.
2. Assist in developing and implementing SportsCare objectives based on the situation assessments and the mission statement.
3. Assist in developing and implementing SportsCare strategies to achieve the objectives and carry out the mission.
4. Assist in developing and implementing SportsCare marketing strategies and plans.
Job Performance
1. Develop and implement a quality SportsCare program with an efficient and effective system of providing health education, physician referrals and community medical coverage.
2. Interpret customers' interests, needs and requirements through direct contacts, conferences, meetings and written reports.
3. Develop new business within assigned region.
4. Integrate marketing strategies to successfully create new events and programs
5. Provide a positive organizational image to the general public and client.
6. Assist in developing, refining and implementing SportsCare policies and procedures.
7. Deal discreetly with sensitive and confidential information concerning corporate SportsCare affairs and hospital patient data.
8. Adhere to all corporate SportsCare operations, policies and procedures.
9. Track and report results using SportsCare DTS tracking system and other designated forms
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
